It would be helpful to add some additional APIs to enable some additional functionality via API.
Send Test Email - would send a proper test email to designated addresses (like Quick Test)
List Of Emails Pending Approval - returns a list of emails pending approval including mailing name, mailing id, subject, owner, schedule date
Approve/Reject Email - for emails that are sent where the user has an approval group, provide an API to easily approve or reject the pending email
Recipient Email History - Returns a list of all emails a recipient has received as well as dates/times, and open/click history
View Query Criteria - returns the criteria for a query, query name, creator, last calculated size, last send date (if possible)
How will this idea be used?
Having these new APIs would allow us to add additional functionality to our internal processes around approvals. This has become increasingly important with global comms about COVID-19, Brexit and other things. |

Recipient Email History would be an alternative take on the Contact Insight Report. This would be helpful from a CRM perspective as we could inject that data into Activity History, or could build custom marketing profiles for each of our individual recipients. It's also helpful from a support perspective, where someone could ask if recipient X received an email (helpful for us internally, from an HR perspective regarding open enrollment emails).
These are good enhancement request.
