Classes to be added to image properties

When viewing or amending images by using the image properties in the sub menu having the ability to either alter or include a class for the image would be a good idea for coders and maketers alike.

The mock-up attached shows the ability to include class for the image inserted into an email template.

How will this idea be used?

We have several client using Acoustic for email building and are wary about amending html code, due to lack of experience/knowledge. When inserting new images into a template the inability to include a class for the image in the properties sub-menu is causing emails to display incorrectly when viewed on a mobile device.

When inserting an image the code will look like;

<img src="image.png" width="600">

without a class the image stretches the email in mobile. If the ability to include a class is there they can add the correct mobile class, so the code will now look like;

<img src="image.png" width="600" class="mobileimage">

This will help with my training and give clients the confidence to amend their own templates.

    This is disappointing. Our clients have a lot of templates that have been build from html within the current email editor. The new message composer, as it stands at the moment does not have the functionality of the current editor.

    I already have access to the Beta and we are not building templates in there at this current time.

    Surely this can be added to the current email editor, or are you saying that the new composer will be better than an advanced responsive template?

    Thank you for submitting this idea and describing its value. However, this is not something we will implement in the current email editor. Our new Message Composer allows you to create emails using a drag-n-drop editor and those emails are responsive. If you do not have access to the Message Composer, please reach out to your Account owner to get added to the beta.
