Add more options for data/email job scheduling
For scheduling of both data jobs and email automations, it would be great to see a way to schedule with GUI (no API access) quarterly, yearly and a range within the a month options say 15th to last day of month every quarter for example.
Currently, these jobs run daily and are a waste of resources. Additionally, we are getting reports with nothing returned (and also muddies the reporting seeing these '0 sent' reports).
If not at least provide us a way to not have to cancel/complete data/email jobs - perhaps put a pause option so that we can 'manually' run the jobs without having to go through the entire automation process. Of course automation is ideal.

How will this idea be used?
Being in the financial sector, there are quarterly data/email (ie. investment statement notifications - more so to process quarterly between the 15th and end of month), yearly (ie. taxation statement notifications - more so run daily every January through first week of April) that are required by law to be sent. Otherwise, the less ideal option would be to use the pause option to manually stop the running of a scheduled job till the required timeslot and resume then. |
