Currently when setting up an email to send, if you have multiple contact lists or queries you are mailing; you have to set up each one separately. Not only is this very time consuming, you also risk having multiple emails sent to a record if that record is in more than one of your lists.
With the ability to set multiple lists to a mailing, this would alleviate both of those issues.
I used to work at a very small ESP that had this ability baked into their list of features.
How will this idea be used?
The lists / queries attached would allocate in order of attachment. (example) List 1 List 2 List 3 Upon sending the system would first allocate List 1 to the mailing, then move onto list 2...checking and removing anyone who was in List 1...then move onto list 3 (and so on) removing anyone who was in List 1 or 2. Each list is set to it's own unique MailingID therefore creating a separate campaign in reporting. If all records in List 3 were previously in List 1 or 2...List 3 would allocate to 0 and a notification created. It should be noted to the user that it would be recommended to set the lists in order of least to most records in order to avoid having the last list allocate to 0. The only 'issue' here is if that happens, you wouldn't be able to track that particular list in reporting. |

This would be insanely helpful and is pretty much table stakes for an email platform. Is there any update on if/when this might be implemented?
