Add notification email feature to web forms for internal follow-up

Notifying an internal team when a lead generation form is submitted would enable us to follow up with leads in a timely manner, and prevent the need for someone to manually export the list and share that with the necessary parties.


Expected workflow:

  • User submits a web form

  • Specified internal contact gets a notification email automatically with the submission details (name, phone, etc.)

  • No need for a database export


Current workflow:

  • User submits a web form

  • We export the database and send a CSV to the necessary parties

How will this idea be used?

We are trying to use Acoustic web forms for lead generation, and timely follow-up is key. A lack of automatic submission notification is preventing us from taking advantage of the web forms / landing pages feature, as it is not feasible to manually export and share the database every day.
