Custom Widgets in Insights should Update based on Main Filter
I have built a widget to list Link Names and Click numbers for specific email campaigns in Insights. However, I have to manually update the widget to reflect the filter criteria of the main report. This is inconvenient and if forgotten could lead to incorrect reports sent to other team members. Is it possible to make a custom widget update in the same way the other pre-made widgets update? That is, could a custom widget filter on the same criteria as those selected when you edit and filter the main report?

How will this idea be used?
I copied a report to My Folder. I re-arranged the layout. I then added a widget to track link names/unique clicks (see image). When I update the entire report, the widget does not update. I have to update the report, then go back and update the widget. It's inconvenient and clunky. |
