At the moment, there is no clear indicator to know if you have successfully clicked to search the database for a record. I frequently run into this issue when adding a record to contact list. There is a long delay in finding my result and it's not clear whether that is due to the amount of time needed to search or if my click action did not register. A simple indicator that the search is in progress would be very helpful.
