In look-up web forms currently there is a lot of limited editing and modifications that can be made compared to external form-post code. In the look-up web form where we want users to tie data to their existing row we need them to put in the date they are submitting the form. If would be great if the date field could automatically populate with that day's day, maybe as a database default value option or even within the form-builder itself in the area where you can make it required.
If I could use the external form-post code, I would -- but it does not reliably tie profile updates to existing email addresses.
This web form is for a large-scale project and would greatly increase user experience and reduce error. "Last modified" does not work since we are still importing updates from the original data source every morning. If there is one thing people love, it is avoiding extra work when possible.
