This idea could be really helpful for organizations that have multiple SP instances. Essentially it should be possible to do a manual database update on one instance only and that update to be replicated across all other instances that use the same DB. So there is no need to log into each individual instance and to the same update multiple times. Even though this is available through an API, companies that don't have capabilities to develop this could benefit from the suggested feature.
