WCA application should automatically monitor data job trends and alert org admins and/or creator of data job when a job is running substantially longer than normal trend. Running the GetJobStatus call periodically as a client might be a feasible check for clients with a handful of jobs per day. However, when many data jobs are submitted consistently each hour for some business cases and an extreme delay occurs, subsequent jobs may get queued up and delay as well. Knowing which datajob is the culprit without probing or manually monitoring on the client side would be more efficient.
