WCA's current design interface is not user friendly at all and lacks a lot of design feature. In many sales brochures we see the "WYSIWYG" notion, yet WCA's email editor is poor and doesn't reflect this at all. It falls far behind when you look at email editors from the competition (in terms of working through drag & drop modues, etc), and this is why most of our customers don't want to use the editor and choose to work with outside professionals to do HTML design.
Another sales point for WCA is to "keep it in house" and have your entire marketing team work together in every aspect of a campaign, yet the designer is so poor in it's ease of use and overall "friendliness", that companies look for outside help to work through HTML.
WCA's email designer is so poor that the only way to truly create professional templates quickly and easily is to have HTML professional designers. If not, WCA's not the tool you're looking for to design emails from scratch without any HTML design knowledge.
