Current IT DR(Disaster Recovery) document does not address certain details that would give us the end to end Data center recovery picture/steps. Example: how would notification of a disaster be relayed and to whom, who is the ultimate owner to make sure Datacenter is recovered, how do we engage with Softlayer to acquire hardware, do we have/need DOU with them for DR scenario, who are the app ops contact that should be engaged for DR, do we have a DOU, what are the steps outside of Database DR process that need to be taken to restore core services/infrastructure such as mesos, marathon, cloudant services etc... there are many other questions like these that should be addressed in a end to end Data center DR process.

We need to have a broad org. wide review of current IT DR document, identify all gaps, and address them.
