Allow for calculated metrics to be added to standard reports

I would like to take a standard report and create a new view with the ability to create calculated metrics off of the existing data. The little calculator Icon is not available in the metrics edit feature.

How will this idea be used?

Since all of the metrics that are available in a given report are already there, why not offer the user the ability to create a calculation off of that data.
