The whole point of Site Promotions is to measure the interaction of the link click across the site. Not allowing for a roll up of a tag means you can not see the success/failure of a give tag. Unlike Real Estate, the Page ID is more of an attribute to the Site Promotions tag. the 3 piece Hierachy tag allows for the success measurement. Adding Page to that report allows for breaking down a specific tag to WHERE it is being thrown.
How will this idea be used?
The Site Promotions report as it stands is nearly useless. You cannot measure the effectiveness of a specific promotion across your site. Page ID is a drill down level to the actual tag. |
