In order to send segments of folks who drop out of a form at a particular field (and who maybe don't have tealeaf yet) it would be great if we could build a DA segment based on progress through a particular form to send (say) to Campaign via Exchange. Having looked at this in legacy, next-gen and in Explore, I couldn't see any way to use form based events in a segment. The way is if a form action can be captured as an attribute, then it could be used to report and segment on - but its not very elegant.
How will this idea be used?
A retailer has a new newsletter sign up process which has an unusually high drop off rate from a specific field because the field doesn't accept the correct amount of characters. We want to segment all the people who dropped off at the specific field and re-engage them. |
