We have a need to see page views, by hour, for several error page types we have. This allows us to spot when in the day an issue started and when it stopped.
Currently In Next Gen, the only way to do this would be to pull the rows for the page views file in the DDF and aggregate that based on hour and minute. This is time consuming.
How will this idea be used?
By having a 'heat map', or something similar to hourly trend by day in Live Reports, will allow us to isolate technical issues and patterns in a faster manner. We also use Live Reports to monitor emergency fixes to ensure they are working.
