Feedback: DDF Export files includes “Alias” as the header name for Attributes. This means that if I Alias a New Attribute or change an existing Alias then the name in my Export Header changes. This can cause the client side processes that ingest the Export data to break.
For the DDF can there be a check box to pass Alias Names vs. the default value such as “Page View Attribute Field 1”? This would be similar to the ability to check box “header” in the UI. That way I can choose if I want my DDF to have the Alias values vs. the generic default values
In a similar fashion there are times where we want to add Comments on what an Attribute is but NOT Alias the Attribute because we don’t want it to appear as a breakout or we don't want to change the default attribute values in the Export header . Right now the system won’t let you do this. To add a Comment you must Alias the Attribute. Can you add the ability to Comment a Attribute but NOT Alias the Attribute?
How will this idea be used?
This will be used to provide greater flexibility and less un-expected and unwanted export breakage |
