Currently, on any report, you can trend pieces of data. Very useful for a single instance. However... most companies have been around for more that 1 year and will want to compare how they trended say last month to the same month the previous year. As much as I enjoy Excel, it would be nice if I did not have to download trended data for 2 date ranges and put them together manually in a spreadsheet because the new "Improved" UI decided the function wasn't necessary and was not included.
