I had opened a ticket about this and have now been sent here...
In the Legacy AI, If a page can fall under 2 categories depending on how the page is navigated to, then A session that hits this page twice through 2 separate paths is still a single session hitting this page ID not 2. This is not the case in the tool now though. Why have it roll up to the page ID (as opposed to by Category ID) if this data is not deduped? The Sales would also be wrong. If a customer spends $1000 in a session and hits the same page twice under 2 different categories, that page did NOT contribute $2000 in sales, but that is what is currently being reported. The New UI does not allow for this view, meaning that it forces the category to be displayed. You cannot get a rollup by page ID in a standard report (not that I have found anyway). Being that we want to see how a page performs, this is far from ideal and forces us to utilize the DDF instead of the interface (removal of used reports is not good.).
In the Old Page Categories by page, you had a Page Roll up and all categories collapsed (as you may have - and we do - multiple categories for a page depending on how the visitor gets to the page. In the New UI each category is listed as a separate line item and there is no page roll up. The "Hierarchy Report" starts at the Category level then opens to pages. If you take, for example, our page: "RECENTLY ON AIR: LIVE", we have this page ID, but the categories tell us if the customer is on East Coast, West Cost, If they are looking at Today's show, yesterday's show, a show from an hour ago, 4 days ago, etc. We set up this categorization to mimic what has been in place since we implemented Coremetrics in 2004. As we shift to AEM, rather than having a different page for each time zone, hour of the day, we are rolling it into a single page (because that is what it is) and utilizing the category to differentiate what "Category" the page is being viewed in. If this is not possible to do in the new UI, then the new UI is useless to us for Page analytics.
I marked this idea as URGENT if IBM's desire is for us to continue to use your tool with the new interface.

So, as this is "Future Consideration", I am assuming it will not be there for launch of the new UI (and depreciation of the old). Since our whole Page Category structure is based on this, once again, we will be turning to the DDF for this reporting and moving further from the need for the new UI. This is EXTRMELY important to how we look at our pages and the tags were designed this way based on the structure of the available reporting.
