When there are no sessions being captured (for whatever reason) for a particular application there is no way to know unless you observe the dropoff in a report or if you can't find sessions. The ability to be able to configure canister alerts for "active sessions" for specific applications or better yet, a specified event, would allow for detection of interruption.
