The NT authentication group should be associated with Tealeaf application groups. Right now they only control access to the portal and which sessions can be replayed.
- Group membership should control what items users can access in the portal (Event manager, specific search and session list templates, etc. )
- Automatic user creation should automatically create the ID in the appropriate group.
- Automatic user creation should default to group default for every setting - Including License type (cxImpact, cxReveal, etc.) - Right now when a new user is created it sets all the user settings to the group settings but it's not dynamic so changes to the group settings don't update the user settings which defeats the purpose of controlling permissions with groups.
Right now we're doing all of this in an automated fashion using a Powershell script and updating the database directly but the app should be able to easily handle these items.

I am very disappointed and welcome further discussion as we need ability to manage onPrem access via AD group membership. Currently, there is a fair amount of manual effort involved which could easily be solved by allowing mapping between AD groups and permission groups in the application.
We are not looking into this as high priority currently, but we are glad to have further discussions on it.
