How will this idea be used?

Customers wanting to measure times between to objects would do the following:

  1. Replay an example session.

  2. Put TeaLeaf into time measurement mode.

  3. click on the first object for our time measurement. For example, this could be a continue button with the resulting page to be the next object for timing.

  4. Click on the page load event to complete selection of the time interval.

  5. The name of the first event and second event can be changed before leaving time measurement mode.

  6. Leave time measurement mode.

TeaLeaf would automatically create two events, one for the starting event and another for the ending event. TeaLeaf would automatically create another event that would calculate the time between the starting and ending events. Next, TeaLeaf would automatically create a dimension with, say 5, buckets to bracket the time in the time measurement event. This calculation event would save the value to the dimension. TeaLeaf would automatically create a report by this dimension.
