Dependencies on other infrastructure to determine IP geolocation would be eliminated.

    Perhaps the Maxmind GeoLite database is an option. Even if we have to manually download and place the database updates onto the canisters as they are released. I picture it being similar to manual Browscap updates. Note: as much detail as possible is needed so ideally all of the databases offered (state, country, ASN, etc.)
