A few small changes would make the TMS Worldview easier to use.
When the server list is large, it would be very helpful to:
Provide a hierarchy by server type (Portal, Canister, Archive, HBR, Replay, Transport, Data Collection, Pre-aggregator, etc.)
A server in more than one category would appear in all of them
Provide list checkboxes to filter by server type.
List only canisters, HBRs, etc.
Designation of server type:
This designation should be made by interrogating the server. Do not consult the Portal Management data. If a server has the canister service, it is a canister. If it has the HBR or HBREx agent, it is an HBR. If is has no other significance services, (not Portal, etc.) but still has the Transport Service, it is a Transport server.
And so on... Data Collection, Pre-aggregation, etc.
Server name filter
Show only servers with specified characters in their name
Provide a filter by status
Show only servers where an expected service runtime status is down or not confirmed
Flag server names where an unexpected outage has occurred
That is, more than one restart has been seen since midnight, etc..
How will this idea be used?
