In order to make certain session search list templates "cleaner", additional control over template contents is needed:
Ability to remove "Expires In" column
This column is deceptive and raises many questions from business users. As most important sessions will be archived, and this column does not 'know' what will be archived, the expiration data in this column is usually incorrect.
Ability to remove Actions column
Currently, it is possible to remove all but the 'save session to event tester' icon. This request is to add the ability to remove that icon also, and for the Actions column to be removed when no action icons are enabled.
Ability to remove "Drag column headers here to group" box
While this is a useful feature, for certain 'clean' templates this area should be removable.
Ability to remove "Enter keywords to filter' box
While this is a useful feature, for certain 'clean' templates this area should be removable.
Having this additional control over list templates is also helpful when Tealeaf is accessed from a smaller screen (laptop or tablet, etc.. )
How will this idea be used?
In particular, removing the Expires In column from some group's list templates will avoid confusion. We retain important sessions for 35 or 120 days, yet the list reports them expiring in 14 days. |
