The introduction of Data Extract and Archive warrants expansion of roles for users and permissions to go along with it. Admins may setup Archive jobs to be run and stored in LTS, but for session retrieval and even for extract processes a role with lower level permissions to Admin is required. We have 4 advanced level users that we would like to role out extract functionality to in the business but can't because that would make them Admins and we don't want those users to be able to create events, etc... As well, I'd like to assign a Archive level role to a couple lower level analysts who could login to view COS storage and retrieve sessions on their own as escallations come in. They don't need access to setup a job but do need to be able to view the job settings to get the storage information, password, keys, etc... The way the system is currently setup, you leave Admins to do all the work instead of promoting users in business channels to use the system in different ways.
