Our goal, when performing a FTS, is to have TL search for an exact match for a word or a phrase and exclude weaker match results. We don't want it to interpret the results and find something close to what we searched for; we only want sessions where that exact word or phrase occurred.

We can't think of a use case where it's acceptable to find results that are close enough. Most of the times, we're after an exact match. If we want close enough, we'd try to use wildcards.
