The primary cost and overhead of maintaining Tealeaf on Premise is the maintenance of Windows, as well as dealing with the unforeseeable impacts of GPO's. By moving Tealeaf on prem to Linux, we decrease the maintenance overhead, increase scalability and performance, and make the deployment of Tealeaf via kubernetes possible. This would introduce the ability to deploy a "hosted on premise SAAS" version of the on premise possible, which many on premise customers have requested.
