Currently dimension values are always "down", aka "vertical". For example, assume I have a dimension called "application flow", with values "A" and "B", and I apply this dimension to event "application completes". When I add this dimension to a report table, using an hourly view, the first column will be hour of day, and the second column will be, alternating, A and B. For example: 9 am A: 10 occurrences; 9 am B: 8 occurrence, 10 am A: etc... This makes it hard to review trends in the reports. Instead, we want to show "A" and "B" as separate columns, with the corresponding A/B event volume in each column. Currently, the only way to do this is to avoid using dimensions, and just create separate events for each dimension value: "event A" and "event B". However, this is quite redundant, and maintenance heavy. We really shouldn't have to create separate events just to get the right visualization.
