Background

This was a feedback after a quick call with Royal Bank of Scotland what they would like to have added to WCH. Their use case was to give content authors the possibility to select unmanaged html snippets and reference it in their managed content. Currently the content picker pre-filters for managed assets. Therefore what they do is using a text element to copy and paste the url from the unmanaged asset into the content item.

Actual Feedback

Based on this discussion it became clear that they actually would like to have more flexibility when adding a content reference element to a content type. For example instead of only being able to filter for a specific content item they would love to be able to also add profilers for managed / unmanaged content, tags, specific image attributes, if a content item has a specific field set or not, only show images with a specific width / height ...

What's required

Improve the configuration experience for content reference, image & video elements to allow a more fine grained pre-filtering as defined by the content type creator.
