Digital Analytics - Compare Functionality in Ad Hoc Reports

When I create a new report it appears that the date range compare only exists if a report is set to daily, weekly and monthly.

If a report is only weekly then the date range compare functionality does not exist. This is true even if the report is set to weekly and covers multiple weeks that could be compared.

    I have the same problem. When creating a one-time report of say week to date because we don't have that functionality there is no compare button after it is created.
