With the current asset library, it's hard (impossible) to manage content for multiple emails in an efficient way. Currently there is no link between the asset (or ruleset) and the content in the template. Changes in the asset do not reflect in existing templates (like republishing in eMessage did after a change in the content lib).
I think there should be a link between an asset or ruleset from the library and the used asset or rule in a template.
Another option is a full integration with an external CMS, maybe the content hub could be extended to be used with HTML snippets, text, ... instead of images only.
Currently we have setup all content in relational tables to be able to mange changes and new content centrally, but the challenge with that is how to fill the relational tables (API or csv upload..). Which is manageable , but not ideal. out of the box integration with an existing CMS and relational tables would also be nice.
The need for improved content management applies to both Engage and Transact, where with transact it might be even more urgent as there is no relational table possibility.
